FEZrs
Remote sensing
A Python package for geospatial multispectral image processing: spectral indices, filters, image enhancement, change detection, clustering and classification behind one calculator API.
Free & Easy tools for Earth sciences. Installation guides, API references and worked examples for every FEZtool project.
Each tool covers one Earth-science domain and shares the same principles: open code, a small and consistent API, and documentation written for practitioners.

Fault and geohazard monitoring
Version 1 is an earthquake monitor. Every 30 minutes it collects reports from USGS and EMSC, merges reports of the same quake, tags fault zones, significant events and active sequences, and publishes a feed, a map and downloadable data.
Climate change
Climate-change analytics: trend detection and indicator calculation for climate and land-surface time series.
FEZdocs, the official documentation platform for the FEZtool ecosystem — a growing collection of open-source tools and libraries focused on remote sensing, geospatial analysis, image processing, and scientific computing.
FEZdocs is designed to provide clear, structured, and developer-friendly documentation for every package maintained under the FEZtool project. Whether you are a researcher, developer, student, or contributor, this documentation hub aims to help you quickly understand, install, and use FEZtool libraries effectively.

FEZtool is an open-source initiative focused on building modern and accessible tools for:
The ecosystem is actively evolving and currently includes several libraries and experimental tools that are being improved continuously.
One of the core libraries in the FEZtool ecosystem is FEZrs — a Python package developed for remote sensing and geospatial image processing.
According to its project description, FEZrs provides tools for:
The package is distributed through PyPI and Anaconda and requires Python 3.11 or later.

FEZfm is the fault and geohazard monitoring tool of the FEZtool ecosystem. Its first version is an earthquake monitor that runs entirely on GitHub Actions and GitHub Pages: it collects reports from USGS and EMSC every 30 minutes, merges reports of the same quake, flags fault zones, significant events and active sequences, and publishes a feed, a map and downloadable data.
As the FEZtool ecosystem grows, maintaining organized and accessible documentation becomes increasingly important.
FEZdocs was created to:
This repository currently serves as the main documentation hub while the ecosystem is under active development.
FEZdocs is currently in an early stage and hosted on GitHub Pages by the FEZtool-team organization while the platform and libraries continue to mature.
The documentation structure, design, and content are continuously improving and may change significantly over time until the project reaches a stable public release.
The documentation platform is expected to include:
Documentation will gradually expand as more FEZtool libraries become production-ready.
FEZtool projects are open source and community-driven. Contributions, issue reports, discussions, and feedback are always welcome.
